WHAT WE DO

Fix the glass where the car already is.

Texas heat spreads a chip fast. Call the same day if you can — a repair now is usually cheaper than a windshield next week.

Stop it before the heat spreads it

Rock chip repair

A chip the size of a dime can run across the glass after one hot afternoon on 290. Resin repair is done at the vehicle, usually in a single visit, and it keeps you from buying a whole windshield.

Long crack repair

If the crack hasn’t gone through the glass and we can still chase it, we repair it — including long cracks a lot of places will only quote as a replacement. If it can’t be saved, we’ll say that before any work starts.

When the glass is done

Windshield replacement

We pull the damaged windshield and set a new one where the vehicle is parked. Newer cars with a front camera sometimes need calibration after a replacement. We’ll tell you that up front, not after the glass is in.

Door, quarter & back glass

Side windows, quarter glass, and rear glass. We come to the car at home or at work so you’re not stuck taping plastic over a door and hoping the weather holds.

THE SHOP IS THE TRUCK

Trey comes to the car.

TMC Auto Glass is locally owned. More than a decade in the trade, and six years running this route. There isn’t a waiting room. You call, the truck shows up, and the glass gets handled where it’s parked.

A lot of places scare a long crack into a full replacement. If the original glass can be saved, that’s the job. If it can’t, you’ll hear that before anyone starts pulling trim.

FROM THE DRIVEWAY

Neighbors, not a dispatch desk.

Questions people ask before they call.

Is there a trip fee?

No. In Cypress, Katy, Hockley, Tomball, and Fort Bend County, mobile service is included. We come to the vehicle.

How fast can you get here?

Same-day is common, including Saturdays, when you reach us while the day still has room. We’re open every day from 7 AM to 8 PM.

Will you repair a long crack, or only chips?

Both. A lot of shops look at a long crack and push a new windshield. If the original glass can still be repaired, that’s what we recommend.

Do you warranty the work?

Yes. Our work carries a 3-year warranty.

Can I use insurance?

We don’t bill insurance directly. After the job you get an itemized invoice you can send to your carrier for reimbursement. The estimate is still free.

Where do you actually work?

Wherever the vehicle is parked and we can work safely — home driveway, apartment lot, job site, or office. You don’t come to a shop.
